KZ is sick to look at, but it doesnt provide the tight controls, 4 player co-op, in game vids, driveable vehicles, forge & other features found in the Halo 3 game released in 2007.
I find it fAR from "perfection" lacking these features found in a 2 year old game, the midget camera angles, not much of a story with repetitve enemies, & more cussing than I think Ive heard it a videogame.... & worse of all, the "realism" of the unresponsive contols =...
Beauty to look at, but I dont care for the controls at all. By far the worst targeting I've ever seen in a AAA FPS.
Very disappointing. I keep playing thinking I'll adapt, but it just feels slow & unresponsive to me. Not to mention that the PS3 controller just isn't great for shooters anyway.
As Peekay said:
"what does weight and realism have to do with pressing a trigger and experiencing a delay to when the gun actually fires?"
sweet mod !
I think it's awesome & the best part is you dont have to purchase dlc if you dont want to. I definately enjoyed the DLC for Mass Effect, Fallout III, & GTA IV myself & would buy more for those games.
Yes & No.
If a game is as good as Mass Effect & offers the 30+++ hours of gameplay as it did without MP, then it's an excellent purchase. If it's a 10 hour FPS with a gimped MP or no MP, then it isnt worth buying.
In most cases, for $60, I expect a very long game (RPG) or a good MP component & I think that any shooter should offer co-op in 2009 & beyond.
Dead Space, MGS4 & Bioshock are *great* games with almost NO replay value c...
Unicron, I like you. But these 2 series have always been compared to my memory. Splinter Cell has traditionally better gameplay, both have stealth, while Metal Gear has a more in depth story. In the series, Both have had great graphics with an edge to Metal Gear in most cases. MGS1 is a classic & SC2 was an awesome game too, for me. MGS4 was awesome & i can't wait to testdrive Conviction!
Better yet, if you have the money, why not buy both consoles so that you can enjoy everything this console generation has to bring.
1. Mass Effect
2. Fallout III
IMHO........
But no Mass Effect on this list is an epic fail.
Lovin' me some Lost Panties.
With co-op ?!? That looks pretty *frickin* sweet, they have definately improved upon the LP engine. Smartest thing they can do is dump the LP1 health system (having to constantly run around for antifreeze)... & hire a writer from Bioware.
Good Stuff !
LOL @ anyone who plays this craptastic game ?!?
UT is a joke ! No story whatsoever & every level is like a MP map against bots ?!?
ROFL
W000T!!!
Cant wait with my * 2 * Level 60 Shepards ready to go ! Any news on the new ME1 DLC ???
360 = more games, xbl, better multiplats & dlc
PS3 = great exclusives, Free PSN, BluRay.
Both are a big gaming bang for their buck. Best to have both too.
Just gimme Mad World & KOTOR III on one of 'em would ya ?
Firstly, you're going to notice more jagged edges in the PlayStation 3 game, since it doesn't feature any anti-aliasing. This is in contrast to the Xbox 360's 2xAA.
LMAO - I enjoy GTA, fun to fart around in for sure. 10 hours or 20 something new missions with a new character for $20 is cool with me = i Like the new weapons & the new bikes, best of all = you dont have to buy it or read reviews about it if you arent a fan of the game !
ROFL !
cOOl ! Like the notes on Gameplay, Weapons, & the Bikes... cant wait 'till tomorrow... lol, I could have done without the "dong shot" though...
Yeah, & Gabe looked funny when he walked, like he had a load in his diaper = lol
Still loved me some Syphon Filter, I would *love* to see a Next Gen version myself.
I partially agree with most of what you said, but the controls are the worst Ive ever experienced in a AAA fps. Graphics are amazing, but it doesnt have the features, story, or gameplay to go with it...
